Job description:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Student Affairs & Student Support Coordinator, the Orientation Leader will assist in the preparation, organization and delivery of both the Foundation/Pre-medical Orientation on 18-21 August and the Medical Orientation on 25-28 August, 2014. He/She will be expected to:

 

  • Create ideas for icebreakers and fun activities and implement them during both orientations.

 

  • Assist with the preparation of the orientation packets for the students.

 

  • Greet and provide guidance (ushering) to new students and their families during the Pre-Medical Orientation.

 

  • Coordinate and facilitate check-in at both orientations.

 

  • Assist the Student Support coordinator with assigning lockers & mailboxes for all students.  

 

  • Provide support with the organization and delivery of the White Coat Ceremony.

 

  • Provide administrative support as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as required.
