Job description:

Northwestern University in Qatar’s Marketing Department seeks two video/photo producers for project-based assignments during Fall term. These positions will require approximately 18 hours per week each.

The video/photo producers will work as a team to create 3-5 minute videos and web photo features showcasing NU-Q, Education City and Qatar. The new content will be an integral part of NU-Q’s new website launch in early 2015
Responsibilities
•    Storyboard concepts based on project briefs
•    Write scripts or outline action
•    Coach or direct participants
•    Shoot footage and edit it into final films
•    Shoot and edit photos, and write captions
•    In collaboration with project manager: create project timelines, coordinate logistics for shoots, identify and enlist participants, and ensure that media releases are signed and permissions obtained

Qualifications required:

•    Must be an NU-Q student
•    Videography and video editing skills
•    Photography and photo editing skills
•    Proficiency with editing software and tools such as Final Cut and Photoshop
•    Ability to conceptualize projects from start to finish
•    Deadline-oriented
•    Minimum 3.0 GPA
