Job description:
The communications assistant will assist the department team with tasks such as creating flyers for events and managing digital signage.
The assistant will help with translation projects, Arabic and English proofreading, social media management (facebook, twitter, flickr etc) as well as photo library management.
The assistant will also help with various other tasks that come up in a dynamic office environment that serves an entire campus. This could include: helping coordinate an event, attending meetings, taking photographs, meeting campus guests, giving building tours, answering general inquiries, liaising with other departments, etc.
Qualifications required:

The assistant should possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, strong organization and time management skills, and proficiency with computers. The assistant should be interested in learning about marketing and communications, and be flexible with regards to work hours.
The assistant should be knowledgeable in English, Arabic. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential. Knowledge of Adobe Suite is preferred.
