Job Type: Permanent part-time

Job description:

◾Collect data and news from all colleges , HBKU events and student affairs

◾ writing articles in English and Arabic.

◾Interviewing student ,deans, faculty and staff.

◾interviewing people in a wide range of circumstances
◾writing copy for publication on a tight deadline
◾building contacts and sources for use in future stories
◾fact-checking the information given to you by a source
◾creating blog publications
•generating ideas for stories and features and following leads

•researching, verifying and collating evidence and information to support a story using relevant information sources such as the internet, archives, databases, etc.
•writing scripts for bulletins, headlines and reports
•selecting appropriate locations, pictures and sound and exercising editorial judgement on the best angle from which to approach a story

•identifying potential interviewees, briefing them, preparing interview questions and conducting both live and recorded interviews
