Job description:

Support Faculty and students during SCPP/Edge/Summer

• Attend the walk-in’s, assist them and escalate them appropriately.

• Support Office setup and Office moves during Summer

• Assist in the start of Summer semester activities like testing software and images in clusters.

• Assist in Imaging Laptop’s and Desktops.

• Assist with service desk duties.

• Check the Clusters’ machines and report findings.

• Troubleshooting IP Phone issues.

• Troubleshoot laptop and desktop issues.

• Setup computer equipment for clusters.

• Troubleshoot Printers/scanners/copiers issues.

• Replace cartridges based on request/alerts.

• Basic Troubleshooting of Software/Hardware Issues in Laptop/Desktops

• Assist on software/hardware upgrade projects.

• Assist in IT orientation.

• Assist in keeping the IT Inventory upto date.

• Monitor the Status of Clusters and Printers.

• Assist in Disposal of IT Assets.

• Front line support for the Issues reported in Ticketing System.

Qualifications required:

Openings: 7


Customer service skills including telephone and in-person reception required.


Must be able to install and support Windows 10.


Basic knowledge of Printer/Copier/Plotter.


Basic knowledge of Mac.


Basic knowledge of Linux OS like Ubuntu.


PC Software/Hardware break-fix support.


Knowledge of personal computers, terminology, and personal computer software.


Ability to work as a team.


Flexible to work in different shifts.


Proactive.


Zeal to learn new technologies.
