Job description:

Time Commitment: 1 hours a week for meetings, 1 hour a week for other duties (email, programming etc.)

• Attend RSG weekly General Board meetings as a representative.
• Represent your community in voting affairs, discussions, campus and community outreach, and overall, improvements for residents in student housing.
• Inform executive board regarding the RSG, committees and other collaborative work
• Help promote and attend RSG Program.
• Be a liaison between their community and RSG.
• Relay all info from RSG meetings to their community.

• Attend RSG Leadership Retreat.
• Be the voice of their community during RSG General Board Meetings.
• Complete other duties assigned by the executive board and/or the advisor(s).
• Abide by and enforce the RSG constitution and this charter under advisement of the parliamentarian.

• Attend all RSG council meetings
• Fulfill the duties and requirements of their respective community constitutions
• Representatives will be held accountable for the representation of their hall/ community council at RSG meetings
• Report information acquired at RSG meetings back to their hall/community council
• Complete other duties as requested by the executive board and/or the advisor(s)
• Abide by and enforce this constitution under the advisement of the parliamentarian
• Represent their building (Shamali or Janoubi) in voting affairs, discussions, campus and community out-reach, and overall, improvements for residence life at Qatar Foundation
• Inform executive and general councils regarding the RSG, committees and other collaborative work
• Help promote and attend RSG Programs
• Be a liaison between their building and RSG
• Attend RSG Retreat
• Be the voice of their community during RSG Council Meetings
• Complete other duties assigned by the executive board and/or the advisor(s)
• Abide by and enforce the RSG constitution and this charter under advisement of the parliamentarian

Qualifications required:

Members shall be residents in Student Housing and Residence Life and reside in student housing for the duration of their term.

All members must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 at time of election and maintain that during their term. The RSG Advisors will conduct quarterly GPA checks for those in office. Officers with a cumulative GPA of less than 2.50 shall receive official notification by an advisor of probationary standing. This probationary period shall last for one previously agreed upon academic quarter. In the event that the cumulative GPA remains below 2.50, then the officer will be deemed ineligible to continue holding their elected position. At this time, the RSG Election Code will take effect.
